CAMP LEADERSHIP, CIT OR LIT OPPORTUNITIES: C.I.T.'s  (Camper In Training)  This is a true leadership program at World Sports Camp.  These campers must be 16 years of age and all but one period of each day, they will follow the normal camp schedule.  During that one period, the CIT’s will shadow a coach to learn about the different coaching techniques.  By the end of their stay at World Sports Camp, each CIT camper will develop a lesson for an entire period and will teach their lesson to the campers, as if they were the Head Coach!!  They will have the help of the other coaches, but this will allow the CIT's to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.

As well, we have a dedicated CIT counselor who will evaluate each CIT at the end of each week to let each CIT know what they have done well and what needs improvement.  In addition, because of their dedication and hard work we take all of the CIT's on a CIT trip.  We allow the CIT’s to decide what this will be.  For example, this past year, we went to mini-golf, laser tag, a movie and dinner off the campus as their trip of choice.
